It's about time for some news...

It's certainly been much too long since we posted with updates on our life. To be honest, for a long time there wasn't anything new and exciting happening. As of now there is definately some news to shout at the rooftops!!! WE'RE PREGNANT!!! Ryan and I had been trying since September of last year with some hardships along the way. We definately grew stronger through the trials we faced, and are now blessed with a healthy baby! Ryan and I were ready to be parents long before we met truely, we've always loved children and found it hard to hold off starting our little family. We started trying shortly before our 2 year mark, and have had to wait on the lords timing. There is truely a bigger plan, perfectly mapped out with even the smallest details of life considered. We thought we knew the reasons for such a wait, but have since been left wondering. Whatever the reason, I have no doubt it will surface before we know it and we will feel blessed for this baby's timing!

We coudln't be more excited for the changes of life this joy will bring. People kept telling us "Oh my gosh, a baby is going to change your lives, you'll never get this time back as just the 2 of you." DUH, we know! We could not be MORE ready for this time in our lives. Ryan would look at the backseat of our car and say to me "I want babies sitting back there. Can we skip forward a few years and have 2 kids already?!" Oh how i love when he says those things!!! So cute!

So here we are, ready to be parents. We could not feel more blessed and excited for this next step! As of now, I am 13 weeks & 4 days, and my due date is February 20th. We'll keep ya posted :)

Recent Events!

Easter Sunday Ryan and I were able to spend some quality time with our families! We went to church with Ryan's Mom and Sister, and had a yummy lunch with them too. It was good to spend some time. My sister Callie (and her babies!) were in town from Oregon to visit the family for our last gathering in Corona :( It's still shocking to me that Corona won't be our home anymore...i'll miss Mom and Dad's house! We didn't take many pictures of the family together, but Ryan did manage to snap some ADORABLE shots of the grandkids by the pool.... SO CUTE!!








Ryan and I also walked down to the Long Beach Grand Prix races (a block from our house!). We could hear the cars speeding around all weekend, and finally walked down to check it out this Sunday. We invited a new couple in the ward, it was a ton of fun!! It was so crowded and exciting, i love being a part of something big like this. It was a fun tradition to whitness..

Wednesday i took my friends Skyler and Spencer out for her maternity pictures. It was a gorgeous day outside, and the two couldn' have been more fun to shoot! Go over to our photo blog to see the rest!!!

Sisterly LOVE

I wanted some pictures of Karina and I, so Ryan took us out behind our parents house and took some pictures!! I'm very happy with them :) There are a ton more, but you'll have to go to our Photo Blog to see!

Catalina Island!

In case you didn't yet know, Ryan's new calling is the Ward Mission Leader! One of the perks is we get to travel to Catalina to visit our spanish branch out there :) Catalina is technically within our ward boundaries, so we have a small branch on the island. Sunday we took the ferry out after Sacrament and spent the day out there! I got super sea sick on the way over unfortunately...but i took some Dramomine for the ride back and was okay thankfully. the branch didn't meet till 4pm so we had a couple hours to walk around and take some fun picures!.... Kelly was such a cute little pregnant lady, we had a blast shooting with her! Kelly and i were friend's in High School, and it was so great to meet up after so long! I'm so excited for her new little girl, she's going to be stunning just like her mommy and daddy!

Fun Weekend, Even Funner Shots!

This weekend was a mixture of events. We started out going night shooting with the Elly's at Disneyland, which was great since we learned a ton from them! The next night we shot our friends band, called Galapaghost!! Their music was so beautiful and emotional, we just loved it! It was great to see all our friends again too, Nicole sat with me and we had a blast! The last three shots were in this beautiful spot Lyndzee found, i loved the way they turned out!Check out the shots she got of us!
